All Star Tower Defense follows a tower-defense loop: build a team before entering a stage, place units along the enemy route, earn battle cash from waves, and upgrade units before stronger enemies reach the base.
Summon Your First Units
Use Gems and summon resources to obtain units. Judge units by attack type, range, SPA, AoE, and utility, not rarity alone.
Build a Balanced Team
Bring several damage dealers instead of filling every slot with one role. A strong beginner team mixes wave-clearing damage, single-target damage, support, and an economy unit when available.
Start Story Mode
Use Story stages as your main early progression path. Clearing stages grants rewards and opens new content while teaching enemy routes and unit placement.
Place Units at Good Choke Points
Place attackers where enemies stay inside their range as long as possible. Corners and overlapping paths let one unit hit the same wave for longer.
Upgrade Instead of Overplacing
Battle cash is limited, so compare the cost of placing another unit against upgrading an existing one. Key upgrades can raise damage, range, attack pattern, or overall output.
Use Economy Units
Units like Jeff (CEO) and Bellma (SUPER Money Corp) generate extra cash. They shine in longer stages where expensive late upgrades matter.
Add Crowd Control

All Star Tower Defense units differ by attack type, range, SPA, placement type, support effects, and upgrade scaling. Many units can also be evolved into stronger versions by combining the base unit with unit-specific evolution materials earned from progression content.
Black Stache (Timeskip)
Support / DamageApplies a powerful slow effect, making him useful in Infinite Mode and hard stages where enemy control matters.

The Summon Gate is one of the main ways to get new units in All Star Tower Defense. Standard summons use Gems, and featured units rotate over time, so saving currency for a useful banner is usually more efficient than spending every time you have enough Gems.

Open the Summon Gate before spending Gems and review the featured units. Banner lineups rotate, so wait when the high-rarity units do not improve your team.
